Twisted Metal UK release date confirmed

PlayStation 3 exclusive Twisted Metal will arrive in the UK on February 17th, Sony has told MCV.

The destructive driving game is the latest in Sony’s long-running franchise, which first arrived on the original PlayStation in 1995.

The new Twisted Metal was previously scheduled to arrive in October last year but was delayed to February. The US version arrives on February 14th.

Buyers of the first batch of copies on PS3 will also receive a voucher that allows them to download the 2001 PS2 game Twisted Metal Black.

February is shaping up to be a strong month for new releases, with Soul Calibur V, SSX, Catherine, The Darkness II, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, Final Fantasy XIII-2, PlayStation Vita and now Twisted Metal due, among others.
