Two new PS3 colours – Red and Blue

Sony has announced two brand new colour variants of the PS3 that will be released in Japan later this year.

The Splash Blue and Scarlet Red models will be released in Japan on November 17th priced at 29,980 (around 240).

There’s no hint yet of a release outside of Japan, and with colour SKUs often very much determined on a region-by-region basis there’ no reason to automatically expect a European release.

It was reported last week that GameStop will be the exclusive UK stockist of the new white PS3, which will be available from its website on November 1st.
