Ubisoft: Far Cry 3 has sold 6m across retail and digital

Far Cry 3 has shipped and digitally sold 6m copies since its launch late last year, according to Ubisoft.

As part of its recent earnings report, the firm announced the figure accumulated 1.5m copies in Ubisoft’s past fiscal quarter.

The publisher attributed the game’s performance, along with strong Assassin’s Creed III and Just Dance 4 sales, as the driving forces in its strong fourth quarter and full year results.

The title’s success has thus far resulted in Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, a download only spinoff title out now for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
