Ubisoft ‘not interested’ in SCi buyout

French publisher Ubisoft has ruled itself out of the race to acquire the SCi Group, saying it has ‘no intention’ of buying the Eidos parent firm.

SCi revealed that it had received several approaches last month – and Ubisoft’s name was immediately touted as a possible suitor.

: Ubisoft has no intention of making an offer for SCi-Eidos.”

The two companies are yet to release any statement on a potential buyout of SCi.
