Former EA business development manager Olga Lazareva heads up new branch

Ubisoft opens Russia office

Ubisoft has opened a new office in Moscow to provide community development and support to its Russian customers.

The subsidiary will work with the publisher’s partners to increase marketing and sales growth in the region.

Ubisoft has seen rising interest in its games in the country, with Russia accounting for the largest number of total active players during beta tests for The Crew.

Former EA business development manager Olga Lazareva has been appointed MD of the new branch.

“Ubisoft’s new office and expansion here shows our appreciation for the growth of the Russian gaming community,” said Lazareva.

“We’re looking forward to improving our relationship with Russian customers and to delivering a distinct line-up of localised games that offers something for every type of Russian player.”
