UBISOFT: Rabbids invade Kinect

Ubisoft’s popular Rabbids franchise will make its Kinect debut this Christmas with Raving Rabbids Alive and Kicking.

The new mini-game collection features augmented reality challenges that show the Rabbids invading players’ living rooms. Players will have to swim, jump, dance, roll and more to fend them off.

Kinect users will also be able to share their photos, accomplishments and high scores with friends and family. Facebook integration has also been promised.

The game supports up to four-players simultaneously – a first for the hardware according to Ubisoft.

Raving Rabbids Alive and Kicking marks the return of the franchise to the Xbox 360. The original Rayman Raving Rabbids was released on Microsoft’s console back in 2007, but every subsequent title has been exclusive to Wii and DS.
