Ubisoft to publish next Armored Core

Ubisoft has announced that it is to publish From Software’s curiously titled latest in its mech battler series, Armored Core for Answer, on Xbox 360 and PS3 this October.

The game is set in a pollution-ridden future where the world’s populace fear that the planet’s end is approaching. The title promises epic boss battles where players fight battle stations from the inside out, a vast plethora of customisation options and expansive next-gen environments.

Also promised is online co-op and an array of online multiplayer modes. In a nod to newcomers to the series, two control setups will also be available – one for beginners and one for veterans.

The previous entry to the series, Armored Core 4, was published by 505 Games in Europe.
