Uncharted 4 has a release date, and it’s likely sooner than you expected

Did you fear that the wait for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End would be a long one? Well, we have good news.

Sony has announced that the game will be released on March 18th, which is certainly far earlier in the ‘spring 2016′ release window than most expected.

The platform holder has also announced no less than four special editions of the title.

The Special Edition includes a steelcase, art book, stickers and some ‘Naughty Dog Points’, which appear to unlock multiplayer content such as character upgrades. The Libertalia Collector’s Edition includes the same and adds a 12-inch Nathan Drake statue, a dynamic theme and loads of extra MP content, mainly comprising weapon and character skins.

The Digital Standard Edition also throws in some skins and MP extras, while the Digital Deluxe Edition adds in the first-ever single-player story add-on for the Uncharted series” as well as – you guessed it – some MP content.

The single player content arrives as part of a Triple Pack that will be available to all players as premium DLC.
