VIDEO: Assassin’s Creed Unity short introduces new female character Elise

Keen to redress the criticism levelled at it last month, Ubisoft has released details of a female central character” who features in Assassin’s Creed: Unity.

A new trailer shows Arno racing against time and through a dense and chaotic central Paris in order to prevent the beheading of Elise, a character central to Assassin’s Creed Unity’s story”.

Added Ubisoft: As an independent young noblewoman, Elise is determined to secure her place in the Templar dynasty amidst the chaos of the French Revolution. Her quest leads her to cross paths with Arno and establish an unlikely bond with him.”

A 34.00 Elise statue is also available to pre-order.

Ubisoft last month faced criticism for claiming that it had not included any female characters in Assassin’s Creed: Unity due to either workload issues or editorial choices, depending on who you spoke to.
