VIDEO: PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale

Sony has last officially announced multiplayer PS3 title PlayStation All Stars: Battle Royale.

The game, which is a tad more than a little reminiscent of Nintendo’s Smash Bros series, is being developed by SuperBot Entertainment.

Confirmed IP include Kratos (God of War), Sweet Tooth (Twisted Metal), Parappa (Parappa the Rappa), Colonel Radec (Killzone) and Sly Cooper (Sly Raccoon).

Also spotted have been LittleBigPlanet, Ratchet & Clank, Buzz and Patapon. Third party characters will also make an appearance.

Levels and arenas will also be sourced from recognisable Sony IP. The game will run at 60 frames per second.

The game will be released this holiday”.
