Vita version of Rayman Legends delayed until September

Ubisoft has announced a delay to Rayman Legends on Sony’s PlayStation Vita.

The game was due to arrive on the handheld alongside Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Wii U this Friday (August 30th).

However, a Ubisoft rep has confirmed to Pocket Gamer that the Vita SKU will now not land until September 13th "in order to apply the final level of polish gamers expect from a Rayman game".

Two weeks is, in truth, not a very long wait, but the game’s tremendous critical reception – it currently has a 91 per cent average on both PS3 and Wii U on Metacritic – might make it a little harder to bear.
