Reports of organisational reshuffle 'unfounded', claims media giant

Vivendi refutes break-up rumours

Activision Blizzard will not be split from Universal Music, owner Vivendi has strongly asserted.

Rumours had started circulating earlier in the week that owner Vivendi was pondering an organisational reshuffle that could result in its break-up.

"Vivendi learned with stupefaction of the claims made by Bloomberg in a story published tonight about its strategy," a Vivendi spokesman told Reuters.

"Vivendi vigorously denies all the assertions in the story, which are unfounded and based on anonymous sources."
