Studio employing new staff and ramping up development

VR developer nDreams secures £250,000 investment

Virtual reality game developer and publisher nDreams has secured £250,000 in investment from Mercia Fund Management.

The funding will help enable the studio to expand its team and continue working on its VR tech.

The studio has previously released the SkyDIEving demo for VR that challenges players to survive freefalling from an aeroplane. The main story image is also a screenshot from a prototype the developer is working on.

"Mercia Fund Management’s £250,000 investment in nDreams will enable us to expand our existing profitable operation by increasing our team of developers and to increase our focus on enhancing our VR technology," said nDreams CEO Patrick O’Luanaigh.

"It is a pleasure to work with Mercia Fund Management and the fact that we share a very similar yet ambitious vision proves that the Mercia team is the right partner for us."
