Warner announces LEGO Jurassic World and Marvel’s Avengers

Two of May’s biggest films are getting the LEGO game treatment.

Warner Bros has announced both LEGO Jurassic World and LEGO Marvel’s Avengers, which will tie in with the release of Jurassic World and Avengers: Age of Ultron.

The Jurassic Park title will follow the plot of not only the new film but also the first three films – Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III. It’s due out on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, 360, Wii U, PC, Vita and 3DS.

The Marvel title, meanwhile, will also follow the events of both the new and old films and is due out on the same platforms.

The LEGO videogame franchise remains a cornerstone of our business, consistently delivering fun, engaging gameplay and remarkable humour both kids and adults love,” Warner’s executive VP and GM David Haddad said.

We look forward to expanding the successful series with this very exciting line-up of new LEGO experiences for players of all ages to enjoy on console, handheld and mobile gaming devices.”

TT Games’ MD Tom Stone added: This year will be the biggest yet for LEGO videogames with these incredible titles and several firsts for the series. TT Games are crafting humorous LEGO adventures, based on new stories and characters across some of the most well-known and iconic worlds.”
