Watch Dogs product manager promises ‘big week’ for IP

There’s now even more evidence that fresh Watch Dogs news – and quite possibly a release date – will be announced this week.

The game’s product manager David Thriault yesterday sent a tweet containing the hashtags ‘watchdogs’ and ‘bigweek’.

This comes after more evidence recently that a release date is on the cusp of being announced.

Last weekNeoGafspotted a competition that temporarily appeared on the PSN website including an image with the text find out the release date in this new trailer”.

In addition,IGNhas word of a new listing for the game on the Sony Entertainment Network site that names its release date as June 30th.

Note, of course, that June 30this highly improbably – it’s the last day of Q2 and is a Monday. The date screams placeholder, but the appearance of the listing alone does add fuel to the fire.

Watch Dogs was originally pencilled in for a release alongside PS4 and Xbox One last yearbut was delayed into 2014just weeks before their arrival.
