Watch Microsoft reveal the new Xbox console tonight – live stream links here

Microsoft will put months of rumours and speculation to rest with the reveal of its new Xbox console tonight.

The reveal will take place on-campus at Microsoft’s Redmond headquarters, and as described by the IEB division’s chief of staff Aaron Greenberg, it will lay the foundation for the new Xbox platform.

We’re going to start on the 21st, and really that’s about revealing the next Xbox platform; our vision for the future of games, the future of entertainment,” said Greenberg.

"People are going to get a great inside look at the making of the new platform and the team that’s brought it to life,” he added. It’s a lot of laying the foundation, probably the best way to describe it, and then just a couple of weeks later, we go to E3."

While Microsoft will be holding back its big exclusives and world premieres for E3, one big game has been confirmed to be revealed at the event. Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Ghosts will be premiered at the event.

You can watch the event live on Xbox Live. If you’d rather catch it on your PC, you can head over to the reveal page on Xbox.com. You can also catch the live steam on IGN featuring Fable creator Peter Molyneux.

Here are all the necessary details and important links at a glance:

If you’re unable to stream the reveal live, several top websites will also be live-blogging from the event.
