What’s Out Today? w/e March 2nd, 2012

Two very different types of board games arrive on shelves to day, courtesy of Nintendo and EA.

The former continues its traditional board game series with Mario Party 9, which mixes up the classic formula with boss battles and new mini-games.

Meanwhile, EA revives its snowboarding series SSX, challenging players to show of their skills at hurtling down a mountain while staying upright.

Also out this week is Alan Wake (Nordic Games), Angry Birds Seasons (Focus Multimedia) and Mortal Kombat: Komplete Edition (Warner Bros).
