alongside Microsoft’s recent New Xbox Experience dashboard upgrade for the Xbox 360, the platform holder yesterday announced at US technology show CES that its game show Primetime channel will arrive in the spring.

Xbox Live Primetime promises a selection of online multiplayer game show and quiz titles, with many based on existing brands. Its initial offering will be popular US quiz show 1 vs. 100, though Destructoid reports that the game will not feature popular American host Bob Saget.

Microsoft has previously stated that Primetime will work by offering a selection of pre-scheduled ‘shows’ in which gamers can participate, with the possibility of prizes even mentioned.
