Xbox One Twitch integration further delayed

Livestreaming support on Xbox One is still months away, according to its provider Twitch.

The video broadcasting platform’s Twitter account mentioned that the company hasn’t received word from Microsoft on when broadcasting directly on the Xbox One will be enabled. Twitch’s best guess is that the service is still "a few more months" away from release.

Microsoft had previously scheduled Xbox One’s video streaming integration to arrive in the "first part of 2014."

Twitch has already benefited from PS4 support, stating that PS4 hardware accounted for 20 per cent of all streams on the serviceduring the holiday break.
