Rayman creator Ancel opens new indie studio, but isn’t leaving Ubisoft

Rayman creator Michel Ancel has opened a new independent studio called Wild Sheep.

The developer is based in Montpellier, France, and consists of 13 staff working on a new original IP.Despite forming a new company however, for the time-being he will continue working at Ubisoft.

In a statement toEurogamer, the publisher confirmed the news and work on a sequel to another hit Ancel-led title, Beyond Good and Evil 2.
