Realtime gears up APB for July

British developer Realtime Worlds has revealed the details for its blockbuster MMO, All Points Bulletin.

The game is due for release on Friday, July 2nd and has a RRP of 34.99, which includes 50 hours of playtime and free access to the game’s social districts where customisation takes place.

Indigo Pearl has been appointed PR partner by the studio to run its press office.

RTW has also revealed the business model for APB. Its revenue framework will revolve around ‘RTW points’ – a new in-game currency that will allow players to purchase subscriptions or in-game items.

The support for Realtime Worlds from media has been overwhelming, for which the entire team and I extend our warmest gratitude,” said CEO of Realtime Worlds Gary Dale.

APB has rapidly taken us to a point where we need the additional PR capacity to ensure enquiries and requests about Realtime Worlds’ studio are met.

"Indigo Pearl’s experience in online games and rapport with press makes them a perfect fit for us.”

EA is distributing the PC game which will hit shelves on July 2nd.
