Multiplay says it won’t block retailers from Insomnia events

Events organiser Multiplay has said it does not intend to stop other retailers from exhibiting at future Insomnia events following its acquisition by GAMEearlier this month.

"No decisions have been made yet, but for future events our current intention is to work with retailers of all shapes and sizes across retro games, accessories, PC hardware, and other such niches," a spokesperson told PCR.

"The exact details of how we go about working with retailers of boxed video game products is something that will be reviewed in more detail as we move forward."

UPDATE: This story originally attrubted the quotes to a GAME spokesperson. MCV has been told that PCR actually spoke to a Multiplay rep, and has amended the story accordingly.
