Release date for new Need for Speed seemingly outed

It appears that the release date for EA’s new Need for Speed game has been revealed.

That’s according to the game’s listing on the Xbox website– spotted by Reddit users – which says that the new racing title will be hitting stores on November 5th.

Keep in mind that this is a Thursday, so could well be the European release date. In which case, expect the game to be coming to the UK on Friday November 6th.

EA’s new Need for Speed was announced last week, and is a reboot of the series. And with its neon-aesthetic, it’s likely this is going to be in the same vein as the Underground sub-series. Officially, the game has an autumn release window.

It’s being developed by Ghost Games, the studio behind 2013’s Need for Speed Rivals.
