Release date set for Ryse on PC

The PC version of former Xbox One exclusive Ryse: Son of Rome has now got a release date.

It’ll arrive in the UK on October 10th priced at 34.99. A digital soundtrack is being offered to those who pre-order.

News of the game came last month following a period of mass disturbance at developer Crytek, during which the Homefront IP was sold to Deep Silver, along with the team working on the game at Crytek UK.

This new PC release, which is being published digitally by Crytek and physically by Deep Silver, includes all of the DLC and support for 4K visuals.

It has previously been suggested that Crytek refused to develop Ryse 2 thanks to a dispute with Microsoft over ownership of the IP.
