Resident Evil Remastered lurches to digital stores next month

Capcom has confirmed a release date for its new HD remaster of Resident Evil.

The game will be released digitally on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 on January 20th. It will run at 1080p on PS4 and Xbox One and in 720p on older platforms. A price of 15.99 has also been revealed.

It will also offer the option to switch between 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios.

Players will also have the choice between the original ‘pivot’ control scheme and a more modern alternative where players move according to the direction of the analogue stick.
