April release date confirmed for Kinect Star Wars

Microsoft has confirmed news revealed by MCV last month that Kinect Star Wars will be released in April.

The game will carry an RRP of 39.99 and land at UK retail on April 3rd. The Special Edition R2-D2 styled Xbox 360 console will land on the same day for 349.99.

The game will include five modes – Jedi Destiny: Dark Side Rising, Podracing, Rancor Rampage, Galactic Dance Off and Duels of Fate.

LucasArts has also revealed that Jedi Destiny mode will now also include space battles and gamers will get the chance to ride Speeder Bikes and Landspeeders. Users will also get the chance to square off against Darth Vader and Count Dooku.

In addition, those who buy the SE hardware will receive a code to unlock C3-PO in the Galactic Dance Off mode.
