Ark: Survival Evolved hits 2m copies sold

Studio Wildcard’s survival adventure game Ark: Survival Evolved has sold more than two million copies on Steam.

The game was released in June 2nd on Steam Early Access, and in four months has sold around 500,000 units a month on average.

The title’s popularity has seen it consistently placed as one of the top played games on Steam. At the time of writing it is the most played non-Valve game on Steam in the last 24 hours, and reached a peak of 47,580 concurrent players.

Ark: Survival Evolved is currently slated to come out of Early Access in June 2016. The game will also be launched on Xbox One and PS4 with PlayStation VR support.
