Best Buy UK opens online store

Best Buy’s UK online store goes live tomorrow at www.bestbuy.co.uk.

The site will sell all products available in stores, with free delivery offered. However, the games section is managed by online specialist, The Hut Group.

Users will be able to post their own video reviews, there will be a forum and blog available, as well as over 350 Inspiration and Advice guides, that tackle the latest technology and services.

MD of online for Best Buy UK deVere Forster said: "The launch of our e-commerce store on BestBuy.co.uk marks a key milestone for the business and helps to make buying technology simple, inspiring and tailored to each of our customers.

"We are very excited that customers from across the UK will now be able to experience the Best Buy brand for the first time.

With Christmas on the horizon, customers will now be able to shop for the very best and latest products and services available at great prices in a captivating and entertaining environment – just like in all our stores.”

Best Buy has also announced it will open its sixth store this Friday in Derby.

The big box retailer began opening stores in the UK in April this year.
