Counter-Strike: Global Offensive part of PSN Play 2012 promotion

PlayStation Pub Fund title Papo & Yo will finally see the light of day this August as part of the PlayStation Network Play 2012 promotion.

The PSN-only puzzle-platformer will be accompanied in the promotion by three other new releases – movie tie-in The Expendables 2: The Video Game; long awaited Vita title Sound Shapes; and the eagerly anticipated next chapter in the Counter-Strike franchise – Global Offensive.

Buy two or more of these four games, and you will be rewarded with credits that you can spend on future purchases. PlayStation Plus members will receive an additional 20% off on each of the games for a limited time.

The PSN Play 2012 promotion has so far been announced only for the US PlayStation Store, but an announcement for Europe (and consequently India) is expected soon.

The games will also be available for preorder, and those who preorder a game will receive a free PS3 theme for that game.
