Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled back at the top of the charts

After two weeks at the top of the UK physical charts, Fire Emblem: Three Houses has fallen from grace. The Nintendo Switch title charted at No.7 this week, with sales decreasing 61 per cent week-on-week.

This reshuffled the Top Ten compared to last week, though the usual suspects still made it to the top, with Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled taking back the No.1 spot despite a slight 14 per cent dip in sales.

Super Mario Maker 2 meanwhile climbed two spots to No.2 and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe gained four spots to No.3 following a slight three per cent rise in sales week-on-week.

Other good sellers in the Top Ten this week included F1 2019 (No.6), which sales went up 27 per cent, and Red Dead Redemption 2 (No.8) and its 41 per cent increase week-on-week.

There wasn’t any new entry in the charts this week and we don’t expect next week to be much better as there’s barely any new release ahead.

Out of the Top Ten games of the week, five were Nintendo Switch titles, with the hybrid console representing 39.5 per cent of the market value, ahead of the PS4’s 34.6 per cent. In terms of units shifted, PS4 was still ahead of the Switch though, with 38.7 per cent of all game copies shifted being on PS4 versus 30.4 per cent on Switch.
