Destiny becomes GAME’s most pre-ordered new IP

Ahead of its official worldwide release tomorrow, Destiny has claimed a big UK sales milestone.

Retailer GAME says that the Activision shooter has become its most pre-ordered new IP ever – not a bad achievement considering that it comes less than ten months into the new console cycle.

Sony said at Gamescom last month that Destiny had claimed the title of the most pre-ordered new IP ever.

The next test for Destiny, which is released at midnight, is whether it can better Watch Dogs, which in June became the best-selling new IP ever in the UK.
