Even WH Smith is feeling the Grand Theft Auto V love

High Street stalwart WH Smith may have long since abandoned core gaming, but shoppers may have noticed this week the presence of Grand Theft Auto V in its windows.

It’s not selling the game, of course – although some branches can still be found selling the likes of Activision’s Skylanders or Sony’s Wonderbook.

What it is doing however is selling BradyGames’s Grand Theft Auto V strategy guide, which it will be offering for 7.49. That’s 50 per cent off the RRP.

The retailer also has two GTA V strategy guides listed on its site – the Grand Theft Auto V Signature Series Guide and the hardback Grand Theft Auto V Limited Edition Strategy Guide.

The guide will supposedly be in stock as of Tuesday next week (September 17th) to coincide with the global release of the game on PS3 and Xbox 360.
