F1 2010 is Codies biggest ever release

UK publisher Codemasters has announced that this Friday’s release of the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC versions of F1 2010 will be the largest in the company’s history.

2m copies of the console game have been shipped to retailers in Europe and North America, and it will also be available digitally on PC.

The game boasts all of the official drivers and tracks from this year’s highly competitive season, which is looking like it will be one of the most closely contested in the history of the sport.

Features include dynamic weather, night racing and motion captured pit stops, with gameplay modes including quick race, time trial and career. 12-player online multiplayer is also included.

It has been built using the acclaimed EGO Game technology Platform that powered previous hits such as Colin McRae: DiRT 2 and Race Driver: GRID.
