Fire Emblem: Awakening 3DS bundle revealed for North America

A Fire Emblem-themed 3DS hardware bundle is heading to US and Canada, Nintendo of America has announced.

The bundle, originally launched in Japan in April 2012, contains a cobalt blue 3DS with a Fire Emblem seal branded on the front and the 3DS title Awakening pre-installed.

For whatever reason, Nintendo has decided to go with the initial 3DS line for the bundle, instead of the XL model.

No official word on price or release date as of yet, but (for what it’s worth) we do know Fire Emblem: Awakening itself launches on February 4th – and that a similar bundle featuring Super Mario 3D sold for $170.
