Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition revealed

LucasArts has announced Star Wars: The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition will be released on Xbox 360 and PS3 this Christmas.

The new SKU will feature the full version of the game and three new levels that explore alternate storylines of the original Star Wars trilogy: two from DLC and one mission exclusive to the Ultimate Sith Edition

The original Force Unleashed released in September 2008 and became the fastest-selling Star Wars game of all time. It has sold more than six million units worldwide.

In the run-up to the new edition’s release, LucasArts will publish a new downloadable mission via Xbox Live and PSN. This will follow a new hypothetical storyline in which the Secret Apprentice kills Darth Vader and takes his place at the Emperor’s side. Players are then dispatched to Tatooine to dispose of Obi-Wan Kenobi, as well as dealing with Jabba The Hutt and Boba Fett.

This mission, and a second DLC level set on Coruscant will be available in the Ultimate Sith Edition, along with a brand new level set on Hoth. Players follow another alternate storyline, as the Secret Apprentice is sent crush the Rebellion and battle Luke Skywalker.
