GAME confirms senior departures

Three members of UK retailer GAME’s senior management team have departed the company, MCV can reveal.

Group Online and Digital Operations managing director Alex Croft, HR manager Malcolm Knight and Scandinavia, Czech Republic and emerging markets regional MD Adolf Kristjansson have reached agreement with the board that it is the right time for them to move on.

We have announced some personnel changes internally today following a review of the senior team,” GAME Group CEO Ian Shepherd, who joined the chain in June, confirmed in a statement issued to MCV.

As we continue to develop the very best pc and video games offer for our customers, we are making some structural changes to introduce a broader range of skills into the business.

Each of the individuals involved has made immense contributions to GAME Group over a number of years, for which we are very grateful, and we wish them the very best in their future careers.”

The news follows the departure of key figures such as former CEO Lisa Morgan and former UK COO Terry Scicluna in April.
