GAME offers Xbox Slim trade-in deals

UK retailer GAME doesn’t just see the Xbox 360 Slim as a chance to sell the console to a wider audience – it wants to sell the console to existing Xbox owners, too.

Speaking via Twitter, the retailer stated: Looking for our trade-in deals for the new Xbox? We will have those all confirmed tomorrow so you’ll be the first to know.”

It’s likely that discounts on the 199.99 machine will be offered to anyone willing to hand over their current Xbox 360, PS3 or Wii. Handhelds may also form part of the deal.

The Xbox 360 Slim – or the Xbox 360 250GB as we should really be calling it – goes on sale on July 16th for 199.99. Expect current machines to receive a price drop soon as Microsoft looks to clear the channel of stock.
