Gem unveils new name – Exertis Gem

The parent company of distributor Gem has rebranded itself and its subsidiaries.

DCC SerCom will now be known as Exertis and as a result Gem has been rebranded as Exertis Gem.

Taken as a whole Exertis now partners with 350 technology brands, employs over 1,600 people and supplies 14,000 resellers, combining to generate turnover of 1.8bn in its last financial year.

Following a period of rapid expansion in recent years, these companies will be now operating throughout Europe and worldwide under the single brand name, Exertis,” the press release states.

The new name is an important step in redefining Exertis’s position as one of the largest European technology distributors and specialist service providers, offering their partners access to a wider range of IT, communications and home entertainment products and specialist services which will help drive their businesses forward.”
