Head video games buyer leaves Amazon

Amazon UK’s category leader for video games and software, Ketu Patel, has left the etailer.

Patel said he will be working in a ‘different role in a different industry’. He worked for almost six years at Amazon, after joining in April 2009 as head of commercial finance (media) before becoming the head video games and software in August 2011.

The rest of the software buying team remains the same, consisting of Matt Merrett, Mike Bembridge and Matthew Finn.
