HMV agrees to sell off Hammersmith Apollo

Investors in retailer HMV have voted almost unanimously to sell off the Hammersmith Apollo.

MCV’s sister site Music Week reports that 99.96 per cent of investors who participated in the vote were in favour of the sale. New joint company Stage C Limited tabled a 32m offer for the venue in May.

The deal is expected to be completed by next month.

Provided the deal goes through HMV will as a result be able to amend its existing 220m bank facility with lenders with an extension until September 30th 2014.
