HMV opens new Head Office in Blackfriars

Entertainment retailer HMV has relocated its UK headquarters to London’s Blackfriars area.

The company can now be found at Mermaid House, Puddle Dock, Blackfriars, EC4V 3DB.

HMV’s previous Head Office was on Eastcastle Street, just behind its flagship Oxford Street store.

Last week, it emerged that this store has been purchased by Sports Direct, with HMV moving to smaller Oxford Street premises previously owned by Footlocker.

The new Head Office will be home to HMV’s newly-restructured games and technology team, which was revealed in this week’s issue of MCV.
