IGS heads to the US

Accessories firm Impact Global Solutions is setting up in the US.

The company is opening an office in Los Angeles and a warehouse in California.

Commercial director Angus Boyd will head up IGS in the US, and he will work with a four-man-strong sales team. Divisional sales director Chris Malone will continue to look after the UK and European side of the business.

IGS produces and distributes a wide range of accessories including Star Wars 3DS cases and its own Game On brand of peripherals. It is investing hundreds of thousands of pounds in the expansion.

We can’t ignore the biggest commercial market in the world,” IGS MD Martin Richards told MCV.

A lot of businesses are coming from the US to the UK, but we’re doing it the other way round. An American focus will give us additional volume.

We’re taking it very seriously and we want to be the No.1.”
