Kinect Zoom Lens hits UK in August

The space-saving Nyko Kinect Zoom Lens accessory will arrive in the UK around August 30th, a retailer has told MCV.

A spokesperson for UK-based online store GamingZap said the Lens will be in stock one week after the US launch on August 23rd. The retailer has already seen a high number of pre-orders for the device.

Nyko claims the Kinect Zoom Lens for Xbox 360 reduces the space required to play Kinect by up to 40 per cent. It simply attaches to the top of the motion accessory and adjusts its viewing angle.

The news comes following Nyko’s announcement that the Zoom Lens will arrive in the US on August 23rd for $29.99.

The success of the Zoom at E3 was outstanding and we are incredibly excited to help expand the already thriving fanbase of Kinect gamers, allowing even more people to enjoy the thrills of being the controller,” said Nyko’s director of marketing Chris Arbogast.

The company previously told MCV it has no confirmation on a UK launch. MCV has contacted Nyko again for confirmation.
