Loot Crate partners with Activision for limited edition Call of Duty crate

Loot Crate has partnered with Activision for a one-time limited edition merchandise box to celebrate the launch of Call of Duty: WWII, which releases on November 3rd.

Developed in collaboration with Activision, the special crate will include Call of Duty: WWII-themed items, including apparel, gear and other collectibles. The box will cost $49.99 (excluding shipping and handling for international customers), but will include products worth up to $90 in value.

Pre-orders are now open, but while the crate won’t be available quite in time for the game’s launch, Loot Crate has said it hopes to ship each box in time for the holiday season, with an estimated arrival date of sometime in December.

"We are thrilled to develop this exclusive Call of Duty: WWII Limited Edition Crate with Activision and can’t wait to share it with all the fans excited about Call of Duty returning to its roots," Loot Crate CEO Chris Davis said.

"With a product of this unique calibre, we’ll be able to engage with Call of Duty’s passionate fan base in new ways and offer a one-of-a-kind product and experience that takes their fandom to the next level."

Founded in 2012, Loot Crate recently signed a new deal with Bethesdato deliver bi-monthly Fallout cratesto customers’ doorsteps. These boxes of merchandise have the same price as the Call of Duty box, but only contain items with a value up to around $65, making the Call of Duty option better value for money – even once you factor in the additional postage costs of shipping the crates to the UK.
