New iPad prices – Carphone Warehouse reveals cheapest trade-in deals

The New Apple iPad will be released in the UK on March 16th and already consumers are in a scramble to find where they can get their hands on the device and how much it will cost.

The standard pricing is as follows. For the Wi-Fi machine prices start at 399 (16GB), rising to 479 (32GB) and 559 (64GB). The Wi-Fi and 4G SKU costs 499 (16GB), 579 (32GB) and 659 (64GB).

Note, though, that the price of the existing iPad 2 has been cut. The 16GB Wi-Fi model now costs just 329 and the Wi-Fi and 3G 16GB alternative now costs just 429.

Larger capacity iPad 2 SKUs are seemingly going to be phased out.

But what of the New iPad? The most eye-catching offer comes from The Carphone Warehouse, which is offering between 245 and 355 trade-in credit for those who hand over their iPad 2 (for the original iPad prices range from 105 to 205).

That could potentially see an overall cost of just over 40 for the new tablet.

Aside from Apple, other vendors to confirm their intentions to stock the device include Orange, Vodafone and Three. O2 will not be selling the iPad, though T-Mobile is expected to.
