New PlayStation Plus freebies now on Indian store

At E3, Sony announced the Instant Game Collection, which will see PlayStation Plus subscribers receive ten full games for free. These freebies are now available on the Indian PlayStation Store.

Of the ten games available, three will be rotated on a monthly basis, which means you’ll have three new games every month. There will also be a new indie release every month, the first of which is is arcade shooter Retro/Grade. Additionally, there will be one game that will be made available as the game of the month. To top it off, three Sony games – LittleBigPlanet 2, Infamous 2 and Motorstorm Apocalypse will be part of the Instant Game Collection all year.

The Instant Game Collection went live yesterday and for the first month, the game offerings include Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown, Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD, Renegade Ops, Chime Super Deluxe, Outland, Darksiders and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine.

And yes, all of the above is free for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Subscriptions are available via the PlayStation Store for 90-day (Rs 885) and one-year (Rs 2,950) periods. Look for these games under the Freebies header in the PlayStation Plus section of the Store.
