Nintendo Switch dock accessory set coming in June

Nintendo is launching a new Switch accessory set that includes the console dock next month, the platform holder has announced.

Launching on June 23rd, the kit will also come with an AC adapter and an HDMI cable, allowing consumers to replace any part of their Switch setup without having to buy another console.

In a way, it’s a shame Nintendo’s not releasing a travel version of the Switch dock so players could carry on gaming when staying in hotels or while they’re on holiday, for example, but it should at least finally provide a solution for anyone with more than one TV in their home, or are regularly travelling between two locations.

It’s not clear how much the set will cost, though, as Nintendo made no mention of price in its announcement tweet (below). It’s also not available for pre-order at online retailers yet, but we’ll update this article as soon as we have official pricing confirmation.

The dock accessory set joins an ever-increasing line-up of Switch accessories from Nintendo, including various permeatations of Joy-Con options, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe wheels, charging grips and controller docks, and cases.
