Nvidia reveals the $2,999 GTX Titan Z

The high-end graphics card market has just been redefined.

Nvidia has overnight announced the GTX Titan Z – effectively two Titan Black’s on a single card.

The monster device houses an incredible 12GB of video RAM and is epcifically engineered for multi-monitor and 5K gaming thanks to its two GK110 chips containing 5,760 processing cores.

Despite being cooled by a single fan Nvidia promises that the Titan Z is cool and quiet, rather than hot and loud” and that low-profile components and ducted baseplate channels minimize turbulence and improves acoustic quality”.

And the price for this monster? A not so cool $2,999 (1,813).
