Puzzle & Dragons creator GungHo saw operating profit climb 4,331.2 per cent per cent year-on-year for the six months ending June 2013.
Serkantoto.com reports that operating profit totalled $460m for the period. Sales climbed 945.5 per cent to $763 with net income growing 2,609.2 per cent to $287m.
For the June quarter sales grew 41.5 per cent to $446m, operating profit climbed 42.6 per cent to $271m and net income increased 28.7 per cent to $161m.
The result? GungHo made around $4.9m per day in its most recent quarter. July has shown a slight slowdown, however, with daily sales hitting just” $4.5m so far.
Puzzle & Dragons enjoys around 17m registered users. The game is still not available in Europe, although GungHo has confirmed plans to release it in the region some time this year.
