Project Zero IV conjuring up PAL release

The Australian version of Official Nintendo Magazine has for the first time dated the Western version of Tecmo’s spooky survival horror outing Fatal Frame IV, claiming that it’s being lined up for an Aussie release next February.

Owing to the added regional challenges of publishing in Europe, this does not mean that the game is necessarily being readied for the European market, but the news is certainly a strong indication of at least the possibility.

The Fatal Frame franchise, which sees gamers tackle a wide range of supernatural ghoulies with nothing more than a camera, is known as Project Zero in Europe. To date it has enjoyed success on PS2 and Xbox.

Fatal Frame IV, which marks the first time the series has appeared on a Nintendo format, was released earlier this year in Japan.
